A message to our kids from Father Jim:
If you haven't been to a Youth Group
gathering this year, you have no idea what you have missed!
Trips have been taken,
rocks have been climbed,
pizza has been eaten,
bowling pins have been
knocked down ... the list goes on. But most importantly, spirits have been
raised,
projects
have been accomplished and life-long
friendships have been
formed (with each other AND the Lord). It's never too late to participate!

A Message To Our Parents........
Our Youth Ministries focus on four areas of our children's lives
* Growing Spiritually
* Interacting Socially
* Serving the Community and
* Continuing Education in the Faith
These experiences encourage our children to feel the presence of God in their daily lives, while enjoying themselves in a healthy atmosphere of Adult Leaders and kids their own age. If you have not encouraged your children to participate in youth activities at Holy Spirit, we ask you to think about it now and plan on their coming to a meeting this month.
YOU are the driving force behind your children's faith; don't wait for a
sacramental year to have them fellowship with their peers and their church.
Elementary Youth Group - Grades 3 through 5

Youth Groups meet
approximately once per month, September through May.

Our Youth Group Leaders make every effort to see to it that our children learn the faith, learn fellowship, learn to serve their church, and make new friends - all while having a FANTASTIC time! Encourage your kids to join YG and, while you're at it, stay and enjoy the evening along with them. More hands are always welcome.
CHILDREN'S LITURGY
OF THE WORD
Holy Spirit has a magnificent program for our Children's Liturgy. It is designed to be kid-friendly and is always in keeping with the weekly Gospel. Our parents present the Word of God (in our Adoration Chapel) in a way that is easy to understand and totally enjoyable. If your children are already benefiting from this Ministry, won't you please consider volunteering to help? No special training is required and Maureen, or another parent-volunteer, will help you. Please, just try it once; the rewards are immeasurable!

Performing with their youthful God-given talents, our Teens and 'make a joyful noise unto the Lord' at our monthly special Youth Masses. Talented musicians/singers who wish to join in may contact Mr. Ron Machamer at 832-1034 or Mr. Tony Montagnese at 838-6951.
